It's the manifestation of the user's personality, or soul, or whatever. Monsters unique to the User that we use to fight monsters called Shadows. There's a part of the User's mind. Yosuke summons his a bit differently, using that card thing-- the Users from Iwatodai usually use things called evokers. Some've us can do it without 'em, but there's issues that way. Either way, we use them to fight Shadows.

Problem is, some've us can't control the damn thing well. I ain't as bad off as the ones whose Personas try and kill them every damn day... but there's a risk've him getting out and attacking people. I don't want that to happen.

I used to have some medication to take care've that. It kept the damn thing under control. Was wondering if you'd be able to make a substitute. I'd pay you or whatever you wanted in return.

I see. To keep a manifestation of one's personality at bay...it's probably some kind of psychotropic depressant.

Do you know what the chemical make-up of the drug was, if it had a name, or can you provide me with some trace sample?

That sounds right. We just called 'em Suppressants. Ain't like they were really marketable. Pretty sure we weren't even supposed to get them.

...Not a clue. I got a friend who might know, but she'd give me hell for it. I'll look for something. I gave the last've mine to a guy from SERO, but I ain't heard from him.

Yeah. The Shadows were kinda their fault, so they studied ways to stop 'em. Persona users and a couple've others are the only once that can even see the Shadows, let alone fight 'em.

What typically triggers a 'Summoning'?

We usually use things called evokers. Triggers a stress or emotional reaction, far as I understand it, but more controlled than forcing it out. Like I said, a couple've us can do it without 'em, but it takes high-stress and tends to be painful.

Crisis situations and shit can trigger it, far as I can tell. I just sorta... lost control've it the last time it got outta hand. It just happened.

So activities which are stress-reducers, and substances which are might prevent a violent persona's trigger?

Theoretically, an adrenergic inhibitor might work. It might have the side effects of lethargy, but in non-harmful dosage...

...I dunno. Back then I thought I could take care've it, even though they kept warning me I couldn't control it well. I don't wanna make a stupid mistake like that again.

A drug that keeps your adrenaline level down. Cuts back stress response. Your Persona would not have the opportunity to appear?

I can ask Mitsuru. Yosuke got his Persona differently, so I dunno how much he'd know. Far as I can tell there ain't really a reason for some people lacking control. I came into mine naturally and it's fucked up, and she was forced to learn it and never had an issue. There don't seem to be much of a pattern.

I'll do a little investigation, and see what I can come up with. Find your sample and deliver it to my box at the hospital, sealed.
