[This needlessly polite, handwritten letter is delivered to the residence of one Daedalus Yumeno during his shift at the hospital along with a homemade cherry pie. Which, despite the fact that the name on the return address is someone with a reputation for failing at most things, is exceptionally well baked and presented. Boy's got some skills.]

Thank you for the pie. It was tremendously thoughtful of you, and we found it most enjoyable. As I've told your brother before, I haven't been accustomed to accepting gifts from my patients, but there couldn't be nicer surprise to come home to.

As for last week, I both accept your apologies and ask your pardons for interfering in what should have stayed a family affair. I hope you have resolved things, and that the two of you are well.
