Welcome to the Newcomer Center Clinic!

It's not much, really, just a one examination room and a waiting area (complete with tropical fishtank) just off the main lobby of the Newcomer Community Center in Sector 4. It is sponsored jointly by a generous donation of equipment and supplies from Skye Medical Center, Siren's Port General Hospital, and funding in part by the Newcomer Political Party. All staff is volunteer. All doctors fees are waived, and any diagnostic lab testing fees are subsidized to affordable cost by public health care. This is an outpatient clinic- so if you have a serious condition, you may be transferred and admitted to Skye or SPGH.

Staff

Dr. Daedalus Yumeno gaveherwings
A general physician, he can give diagnostic examinations. He specializes in  public health administration & research genetics. He has the ability to speed or slow the normal rate of cell growth, which can be used in a variety of healing techniques. Currently the clinic's chief-director.

Dr. Kenzo Tenma surgicalshot
A highly accomplished brain surgeon. His medical knowledge and skills place him high above the rest of others in his field, and he has been described as a genius by his peers. Tenma's latent ability will be something called "Anesthetic Touch"; he can administer localized numbness via touch.

Healer Retsu Unohana calm_tempest
She practices medical kidou with great skill, able to heal wounds that were all but certain to be fatal,. The power most commonly manifests as a green glow around her hands. With such a technique, she restores the body's reiatsu, then uses her own in conjunction with it in order to facilitate the healing process.

Dr. Helen Magnus howflattering
Physician and scientist, specializing in crypto-zoology and xenobiology. Expert in medical abnormalities & developing powers. (Currently on Leave)

Dr. Franken Stein circumsutus

Dr. John Seward psyd_seward (On-Call)
He is an M.D. that can perform surgery or more general physician duties, but as he doesn't specialist in surgery itself so that's probably not as relevant as his psychiatric practices- psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. He specialists in lunacy in its behavioral and cognitive aspects, as well as physical ones. Most mental maladies, in short. As a psychiatrist he can administer medicine if need be.

Time of Appointment: Friday afternoon after Greeters' Class, but Helen Magnus was in class (which I didn't realize until after tying to tag her, and stuff.)
"What Seems to be the Trouble?": Initially, abrupt nausea; hallucinations will start while she's there. (The mushrooms)
Anything else we should know about your physiology/condition?: Emma can provide a list of drugs to which she has adverse or unusual reactions. She's a telepath, so while she hasn't lost control in over a decade, if your mind feels odd while she's around and sick, tell her. (OOC, she has a diamond form which effectively shuts off her telepathy. She won't mention that initially because it would be rather silly to use it while getting medical treatment. When the hallucinations kick in, however....)

"What Seems to be the Trouble?": He just noticed a total lack of heartbeat and pulse. An x-ray will show that he has no heart or human circulatory system.
Anything else we should know about your physiology/condition?: Serrure still bleeds and has blood (no idea how that works, never explained canonically), but his DNA is entirely NOT human. A lot of his physiology is alien as well, his body is more dense than a human, about twice what a kid his age should weigh. His bones and muscles are more dense and he heals a little faster. Serrure only has a year's worth of memories though he appears thirteen years old.
OOC Permissions?: Just don't kill him and we're good.

Cambria would like to be added to the roster. She's a nurse that's dealt primarily with humans, but has been working in the ER of her home world for close to 10 years. She's capable of basic health care and first aid.

"What Seems to be the Trouble?": Looks like a cold.
Anything else we should know about your physiology/condition?: This is obviously not a cold. Tim has been taking drugs ever since that drug plot months back, and now he's been creating his own. The drugs work like Halcion, and give the rare side effects of it, which can be found here. He's currently detoxing from this drug, but has not seen a doctor in a long time. Examination of his body will show that he's had multiple bones broken, and scars everywhere on his body below the neck, as well as a large one on his neck. He has a few bruises right now, too, but otherwise, he's sick from the detox.
